Japan's METI filing
1. Importance of Japan's METI filing
1) PSE certification is a Japanese compulsory safety certification, used to prove that electrical and electronic products have passed the Japanese Electrical and Material Safety Law (DENAN Law) or the international IEC standard safety standard test.
2) Products regulated by the Japanese DENTORL Law (Electrical Device and Material Control Law) must pass the PSE safety certification to enter the Japanese market. Among them, 116 types of A products should obtain the diamond-shaped PSE mark, and 341 types of B products should obtain the round PSE mark.
3) The METI filing regulations require Japanese purchasers to register and declare to Japan METI within one month after purchasing the goods, and must mark the purchase name or ID on the product for supervision and management in the future product sales process.
Special reminder: For products that are currently exported to Japan and have applied for PSE certification, they are required to file with METI!
