1. Why do you need UL certification?
1) The entire US market places great emphasis on product safety. When consumers and purchasers choose products, they will choose products with UL certification marks.
2) UL has a history of more than 100 years, and the image of safety is deeply ingrained by consumers and the government. If you do not directly sell products to consumers, the intermediary will also require the products to have UL certification marks in order to make the products sell well.
3) American consumers and purchasers have more confidence in the products of enterprises.
4) The U.S. federal, state, county, and city governments have a total of more than 40,000 political districts that recognize the UL certification mark.
2. Introduction to UL certification
1) UL is the abbreviation of Underwriter Laboratories Inc. (Underwriter Laboratories Inc.). The UL Safety Testing Institute is the most authoritative in the United States and the largest private organization engaged in safety testing and appraisal in the world.
2) UL certification is a non-compulsory certification in the United States, mainly for product safety performance testing and certification, and its certification scope does not include the EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) characteristics of the product.

Four, UL certification trademark matters needing attention
1) The minimum height of the registered trademark should be 3/64 inches;
2) When the outer diameter of the UL mark is less than 3/8 inch, the registered trademark symbol can be ignored if it is not clearly readable under naked eyes;
3) The mark can be directly and fixed on the unchanging product by stamping, moulding, ink printing, screen printing or similar methods;
4) Obtaining the mark: The manufacturer can reprint it or obtain it from UL authorized distributors.
